The Municipality of Santa Rita was among the recognized local government units during the 2025 DepEd Schools Division of Pampanga Stakeholders Convergence and Recognition held at Greene Manor Condotel, Lazatin Boulevard, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The program was led by Dr. Romeo M. Alip, PhD, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, who delivered the welcome remarks and inspirational message, and Dr. Leandro C. Canlas, PhD, CESE, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, who shared a message of appreciation. Dr. Arceli S. Lopez, PhD, Chief of the School Governance and Operations Division, also gave a message of appreciation, while Mr. Roderico B. Cavayan, Senior Education Program Specialist and Division Partnership Focal Person, discussed the Partnership Alignment to the President’s 5-Point Reform Agenda.
Under the leadership of Mayor Reynan Calo, Santa Rita received recognition for its continued support to education. Municipal Engineer Rosette Buan was cited for her immediate action and school inspections, while Councilor Rico Sta. Cruz, Chairperson on Education, was recognized for his effort in reviving the Local School Board and sustaining education programs in the municipality.
