The Municipality of Santa Rita joined the global celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2025, gathering teachers from schools across the town’s ten barangays for a day filled with gratitude, joy, and appreciation.

The day began with a prayer and Holy Mass, followed by the opening remarks of Councilor Rico Sta. Cruz, chairman of the Committee on Education. Messages of inspiration highlighted the event, led by Mayor Reynan S. Calo, who praised teachers as pillars of the community and assured the continued support of the Bayung Santa Rita administration for education. Dr. Arceli S. Lopez, Chief of SGOD of DepEd Pampanga, also delivered a heartfelt message, recognizing the selfless service and dedication of teachers in shaping generations.

Adding to the celebration, PSDS Emily Maninang delivered an address of thanks and recognition of the teachers’ unwavering efforts and sacrifices.

The celebration was made lively with entertainment, games, and surprises, bringing smiles to the teachers who serve as the everyday heroes of Santa Rita.

Also present were Councilors Nat Gopez, Kim Cosme, Roy Galang, Alex Cruz, and Jessie Pineda, together with school heads and education partners across the municipality.

Through this occasion, Santa Rita reaffirmed its deep respect for teachers. Caloguran na la ning Bayung Santa Rita reng Talaturung Ritenians! Luid kayu pu!
