Around 600 learners from the 13 Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Centers of Santa Rita took part in this year’s Buwan ng Wika celebration.
The program featured 20 groups of ECCD learners presenting Filipino-themed performances and costumes, giving the children an opportunity to participate in activities that introduce them to Filipino language and culture at an early age.
MSWDO Jacqueline F. Quiambao and OIC Municipal Administrator Bryan O. Lumba also shared messages during the program, highlighting the importance of early childhood development and the role of language in learning.
The celebration carried this year’s national theme, “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”
The Municipal Government of Santa Rita continues to support its ECCD programs and activities as part of its commitment to the development and well-being of young learners in the municipality.
