The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully handed over the data for Santa Rita’s Community-Based Monitoring System or CBMS last April 7 after completing the Data Turnover requirements of the PSA earlier compared with other Local Government Units (LGUs) in Pampanga.
The LGU, led by Mayor Reynan S. Calo, is one of the first 10 municipalities which complied with PSA’s standards covering areas of data privacy, legal and policy documentation, and infrastructure requirements.
Through the efforts of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Office and the Municipal Civil Registrar, programs of the LGU will become more data-driven. This is also in response to the LGU’s need to update its existing plans to align with the growing needs of the community.
