Nearly 2,000 relief packs were distributed today to families across Santa Rita as assistance continues for communities affected by the recent heavy rains and flooding.
The relief goods were made available through the initiative and support of Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, with assistance requested from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region III through Danico Pineda.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo, Vice Mayor Ferdinand Salalila, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, OIC Municipal Administrator Bryan O. Lumba, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), barangay captains, and Danico Pineda were present to support and coordinate the distribution.
The Municipal Government continues to coordinate with partner agencies and organizations for additional assistance. As more support becomes available, distribution will continue to reach communities in need.
