Ahead of the possible impact of Tropical Storm Uwan, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Mayor’s Office Support Group (MOSG), General Utility Services (GUS) Group, and the Bureau of Fire Protection BFP Sta Rita, together with Mayor Reynan Calo, conducted sandbag preparation as part of the town’s early preventive efforts.
The sandbags will be deployed to flood-prone areas, including the entrance points of the Santa Rita Parish Church and along Sapang Maragul Creek, to help minimize potential overflow and flooding.
