After months of competition, the Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament of Piyestang Balen 2026 reached its exciting conclusion as players, supporters, and basketball fans gathered for the Championship Night.
Brgy. San Matias emerged as this year’s champion, capping off a strong campaign throughout the tournament.
Leading the way for the champions were Joel Garcia, who was named Finals MVP, and JC de Ausen, who earned the Season MVP award for his outstanding performance throughout the competition.
The championship game drew a large crowd as supporters from competing barangays gathered to witness the finals and cheer for their teams. Adding to the excitement of the evening, Mayor Reynan S. Calo led a raffle featuring shoes, appliances, and other prizes for spectators in attendance.
The Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament remains one of the most anticipated fiesta activities, bringing together Ritenians through sports and friendly competition.
