A total of 134 octogenarian and nonagenarian beneficiaries in Santa Rita received ₱10,000 cash assistance under the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) program for qualified senior citizens aged 80 and 90 years old.
The beneficiaries completed the required application process and submitted the necessary documentary requirements, qualifying them to receive the assistance.
The payout was facilitated through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) headed by Ms. Jacqueline F. Quiambao, in coordination with NCSC Santa Rita Focal Person Ms. Tricia Puno, Ms. Xela Medina, Mr. Leonardo Consulta, and all Barangay Presidents of Federation of Senior Citizens Association of the Philippines (FSCAP) in Santa Rita.
Mayor Reynan Calo, Vice Mayor Ferdinand Salalila, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan also joined the activity in support of programs that provide assistance to the Municipality’s senior citizens.
The Municipal Government of Santa Rita extends its gratitude to the National Commission of Senior Citizens and all partner agencies for their continued commitment to the welfare of older Ritenians.
