March 16, 2026 | Flag Raising Ceremony

This morning’s Flag Raising Ceremony at the Municipal Hall was hosted by the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office, which opened the program with a message in celebration of National Women’s Month.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the launch of Piyestang Balen Santa Rita 2026, where Municipal Administrator Mr. Earl Tongol presented the lineup of fiesta activities and introduced the members of the Piyesta Committee who will lead the preparations for this year’s celebration.
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo also shared updates on the municipality’s recent engagements and activities.

Among these was his participation in the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) General Assembly, where mayors from across the country gathered to discuss programs and support from the national government for local government units.

The Mayor also reported on the Provincial Peace and Order Council meeting led by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, which focused on maintaining peace, security, and stability across Pampanga.
He likewise mentioned the recently signed Memorandum of Agreement with the Municipality of Floridablanca for an alternative waste management hauling arrangement, aimed at strengthening the municipality’s waste management efforts.

Mayor Calo also expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government and Nanay Community Foundation for the recently conducted Libreng Bunot / Dental Mission that benefited residents of Santa Rita.

The Mayor further acknowledged the successful Run Jose activity, thanking the barangay and the community for their support and participation.

In closing, Mayor Calo expressed optimism for the coming week, reminding everyone that the success of Bayung Santa Rita is a shared responsiblity.
