The Municipal Government of Santa Rita conducted its regular Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, July 13, 2026, hosted by the Santa Rita Municipal Police Station (MPS).
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo welcomed PMAJ LEONARDO M LACAMBRA as the new Chief of Police of the Santa Rita Municipal Police Station and expressed his confidence in the continued partnership between the Municipal Government and the Philippine National Police in keeping Santa Rita peaceful and safe.
In line with the observance of National Disaster Resilience Month, the Mayor emphasized the Municipality’s continued preparedness for emergencies and disasters. He recognized the active efforts of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, headed by Bryan O. Lumba, particularly in maintaining readiness and coordination during the rainy season.
Mayor Calo also shared updates on the Municipality’s ongoing Nutrition Month activities, along with continuing social welfare programs and assistance for farmers, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens.
The Mayor likewise thanked the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and CDA Region III for assisting in the organization of the Municipal Government Employees’ Cooperative. He also expressed his appreciation to the Sangguniang Bayan for supporting the endorsement of the Municipality’s 2028 Priority Projects, an important step in securing continued infrastructure support from the Provincial Government.
Looking ahead, Mayor Calo invited everyone to tune in to the 2026 State of the Municipality Address (SOMA) on Friday, July 17, where the administration will present its accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future direction under Bayung Santa Rita.
