Former President and Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo arrived at the 23rd Duman Festival, drawing a warm welcome from the crowd and marking one of the day’s most anticipated moments.
She was joined by distinguished guests from the church, government, and private sectors, whose presence underscored the importance of the annual celebration.
Among the VIPs were Archbishop Emeritus Paciano Aniceto; 2nd District Board Members Atty. Claire Lim and Fritzie David-Dizon; Mayor Anthony Torres of Guagua; Mayor Michael Galang of Floridablanca; and Former Mayor Yolanda M. Pineda.
Also in attendance were representatives from partner national agencies, including DMW, OWWA, DICT, DOH, DPWH, DBM, TESDA, DOLE, PSA, and Landbank.
Private sector partners Ms. Ma. Theresa Laus and Mr. Paul Sanchez likewise lent their support.
The religious sector was represented by Monsignor Ric Serrano, Among Jess Manabat, Among Roland Moraleja, Among Mon Torres, Among Exequiel Laudemer Mangune, Among Ignacio Carlos, Among Deogracias Kerr Galang, and Among Kristian Sergio Rei Cayanan.
The Bayung Santa Rita community welcomed all guests as the festival continues to honor the heritage of Duman and the people who keep this tradition alive.
