A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was formally signed on February 20, 2026, marking the launch of the Farm Business School (FBS) in Barangay Sta. Monica, Santa Rita.
The 17-week program will equip members of Santa Monica MPCI and the San Agustin (SRP) Farmers Association with practical knowledge and skills to become more business-oriented in their farming practices — strengthening their capacity not only as producers, but as agri-entrepreneurs.
The initiative is anchored on a Tripartite Agreement among the Local Government Unit of Santa Rita, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and Santa Monica MPCI.
Present during the MOA signing were Mayor Reynan S. Calo, Emmanuel G. Aguinaldo Parpo II, DARPO Pampanga, and FBS Facilitators Konrad Stefan V. Mantes and Mark Alvarado. Also in attendance was Ms. Emelita Hernandez, Municipal Agriculturist, together with representatives of the partner organizations.
Through this partnership, Bayung Santa Rita continues to strengthen support for local farmers by investing in knowledge, sustainability, and long-term agricultural productivity.
Luid ya ing Bayung Santa Rita!
