Early Gift Giving for Santa Rita’s Senior Citizens

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita kicked off its early gift giving for senior citizens with 500 beneficiaries from all 10 barangays gathered at the Santa Rita Plaza Covered Court on September 21.

Senior citizens received grocery packs, rice, and cash assistance as part of the Municipality’s continuing efforts to extend support to its senior citizen community.

Mayor Reynan S. Calo, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Hon. Romy Valencia, Hon. Kimberly Cosme, Hon. Rico Sta. Cruz, Hon. Nat Gopez, Hon. Roy Galang, Hon. Alex Cruz, Hon. Jessie Pineda, and Hon. Jay Manalo, joined the activity.

Mayor Calo also personally extended additional assistance for the senior citizen beneficiaries.

The gift giving is now being brought to the barangays, with activities already held in the past two days and continuing through September 25, as the Municipality works to reach all senior citizens across Santa Rita’s 10 barangays.

Also joining the activity were OSCA Head Rosario Canlas and the presidents of the barangay senior citizen federations, who continue to help coordinate with the Municipality in reaching senior citizens in their respective communities.
