The Municipal Government of Santa Rita formally launched Caluguran Week during the regular Flag Ceremony, opening a week of activities focused on public service, community programs, and local development. The launch was held as Mayor Reynan S. Calo marked his birthday, which he chose to observe in the context of work and service to the municipality.
A key highlight of the program was the presentation of the Bayung Santa Rita Vision, outlining the municipality’s direction to become a leader in local governance in the Province of Pampanga, a livable heritage town in Central Luzon, and a recognized agri-tourism lifestyle hub in the country. The vision sets the direction for the local government and the Ritenian community moving forward.
The ceremony also recognized Ritenian student-achievers who recently earned awards in the Provincial Athletic Meet (PASDAAM) and the Division Elementary Schools Press Conference (DESPC). The students were congratulated as they advance to the Central Luzon Regional Athletic Association (CLRAA) and the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), respectively.
Special presentations by the Mayor’s Office staff were held in honor of the Mayor, followed by the showing of an audio-visual presentation featuring birthday greetings from barangays, municipal departments, friends, and various public officials.
In his message, Mayor Calo expressed gratitude for the trust of the people and reaffirmed his commitment to lead with humility, sincerity, and a genuine heart for service to every Ritenian.
