Bokod, Benguet Expresses Intent to Forge Sisterhood Ties with Santa Rita

The Municipality of Santa Rita welcomed the officials of the Municipality of Bokod, Benguet, led by Mayor Erik Donn Ignacio, together with Vice Mayor Doroteo Beray and members of the Sangguniang Bayan, as they formally expressed their intention to establish a Sisterhood (Twinning) Agreement with the Municipality of Santa Rita.

The proposed partnership, initiated through a resolution passed by the Municipality of Bokod, aims to strengthen friendship, foster mutual understanding, and promote cooperation between the two local government units.

Through the proposed Sisterhood Agreement, Santa Rita and Bokod look forward to exchanging best practices and working together in the fields of governance, tourism, culture and the arts, education, agriculture, environmental protection, disaster risk reduction and management, economic development, and other programs that will benefit both communities.

Mayor Reynan S. Calo welcomed the initiative, recognizing the proposed partnership as an opportunity to strengthen collaboration and create meaningful exchanges that will contribute to the continued growth and development of both municipalities.
