Bayung Santa Rita Celebrates Young Artists in Arts Month Contests

In celebration of National Arts Month, the Municipality of Santa Rita, through the Culture, Arts, and Tourism Group under the Mayor’s Office in partnership with the DepEd District of Santa Rita, successfully held the Poster Making and Slogan Making Contests last week.

Ten elementary pupils and three junior high school students participated in each category, showcasing the creativity and talent of young Ritenians.

For the Slogan Making Contest, Audrey Denise E. Arceo of San Basilio Elementary School emerged as the elementary winner, while Jeidie Q. Magat of Ambrocio S. Simpao Educational & Trade Center of Learning (ASSET) topped the junior high school category.

In the Poster Making Contest, Princess Aquisha P. Calinaya of San Basilio Elementary School won in the elementary level, while Julier O. Lozano of Becuran National High School led the junior high school division.

Serving as judges were Public Schools District Supervisor Emily Maninang, Wilvenilo C. Calma, Vice-President of Talagambul ning Arte, Poesia at Ugaling Kapampangan (TAMPUK), and Humphrey S. Soriano of DepEd SDO Pampanga.

Mayor Reynan S. Calo personally graced the activity, reaffirming the local government’s continued support for programs that promote arts, culture, and youth development in Bayung Santa Rita.
