A total of 660 beneficiaries from Santa Rita received assistance under the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The payout, sponsored by Sen. Lito Lapid, was made possible in partnership with DSWD Regional Office III and USSC through the efforts of Coun. Renato Gopez.
Present during the activity were TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid and Board Member Maynard Lapid, who joined local officials in witnessing the distribution. Also present in the event was Vice Mayor Ferdinand Salalila, Councilors Kimberly Cosme, Rico Sta. Cruz, Alex Cruz, Roy Galang, and Jessie Pineda.
