The Municipal Government of Santa Rita conducted its regular flag ceremony, with the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator’s Office as host.
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared updates on recent activities of the Municipality. He reported the successful conduct of the 2026 Annual Local Council Meeting with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Pampanga Council, where he was elected as Vice Chairman. The Local Health Board Meeting was also convened, reaffirming the Municipality’s continued commitment to strengthening health programs and services.
The Mayor also cited discussions with barangay captains held last week, emphasizing strengthened coordination and partnerships, particularly on utilities and other community concerns.
He further announced upcoming distributions of financial assistance for various sectors, including the social pension for senior citizens. Applications for the REAP or Ritenian Educational Assistance Program are also now open.
As part of the ceremony, recognition was given to Becuran National High School for being a national winner in the DepEd National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) held in Ormoc City, Leyte, with support from the LGU in providing needed resources.
The Municipality continues its efforts in delivering responsive programs and services for the people of Santa Rita.
