Mayor Reynan Calo Monitors Conditions Across Santa Rita
Mayor Reynan S. Calo personally monitored conditions in different parts of Santa Rita today as the municipality experienced continued rainfall.
The Mayor checked Sapang Maragul Creek, which reached a peak of 6.5 feet at around 1:00 PM, before proceeding to Barangay San Basilio, where some areas were reported to have reached around 3 feet of flooding. He met with Barangay Captain Rusty Mercado to directly assess the situation and discuss the conditions in the barangay.
After the field monitoring, the Mayor returned to the MDRRMO Office to check the preparations and readiness of the response team, including the ongoing sandbagging activities.
The information gathered from the field will help guide the Municipality’s continuing response as conditions develop.
The Municipality continues to monitor conditions and coordinate with barangays as needed.
