A total of 220 solo parent-beneficiaries from all 10 barangays received financial assistance from the Municipal Government of Santa Rita as part of its support programs for solo parents. The initiative is fully funded by the LGU.
The activity was held in line with the celebration of Solo Parents Week, with the theme “Hindi Ka Nag-iisa sa Iyong Pag-iisa: Yakap at Kalinga para sa Solo Parent.”
Mayor Reynan S. Calo was present during the distribution, together with Sangguniang Bayan Members Coun. Kim Cosme, Coun. Rico Sta. Cruz, and Coun. Nat Gopez. Also in attendance were Ms. Imelda R. Felicia, Federation President, along with solo parent presidents from each barangay.
In his message, the Mayor emphasized that the program aims to support solo parents in sustaining and building their families through continued assistance from the LGU.
