A total of 1,063 senior citizen beneficiaries received their social pension covering the 1st and 2nd quarters during the payout held on April 24, 2026 in the Municipality of Santa Rita.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo was present during the activity and shared that the assistance, fully funded by the national government, continues to provide support for the daily and medical needs of Ritenian senior citizens. Also present were Sangguniang Bayan Members Coun. Alex Cruz and Coun. Nat Gopez, along with MSWDO Ms. Jacqueline Quiambao.
Joining the activity were Ms. Maribeth Nucup, Project Development Officer I of the Social Pension Unit from DSWD Regional Office III, and OSCA Head Ms. Rosario Canlas, together with senior citizen federation presidents from the different barangays.
The Municipality remains committed in ensuring that national programs are effectively delivered to its intended beneficiaries.
