The Municipal Government of Santa Rita held its regular flag ceremony on Monday, September 7, marking the first flag ceremony following the recent weather disturbances and flooding that affected parts of the municipality.
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo expressed his gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Provincial Government of Pampanga, Governor Lilia โNanayโ Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis โDeltaโ Pineda, DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian and the DSWD Regional Office III, Cong. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Senator Lito Lapid, Tatay Bong Pineda, and Danico Pineda for the assistance extended to Ritenians during the difficult days.
The Mayor also acknowledged the individuals, groups, organizations, and other partners who shared food, relief goods, essential supplies, and other forms of assistance with families affected by the flooding.
As Santa Rita continues to recover, the Municipality hopes for the continued improvement of weather conditions and for the situation to also get better in other parts of Pampanga.
