During the recent flooding, the Municipalityโs priority was responding to the needs of affected communities while coordinating assistance from various partners.
On September 5, relief assistance from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reached Santa Rita through the initiative of Governor Lilia โNanayโ Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis โDeltaโ Pineda, with the assistance of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under Secretary Rex Gatchalian.
Vice Gov. Delta personally joined the distribution in Barangays Dila-Dila and San Basilio. The same assistance was also distributed to beneficiaries in the other eight barangays, with Mayor Reynan S. Calo, the Vice Mayor, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan leading the distributions.
The Municipal Government of Santa Rita extends its appreciation to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., Governor Lilia โNanayโ Pineda, Vice Governor Dennis โDeltaโ Pineda, Secretary Rex Gatchalian, and DSWD for extending assistance to flood-affected Ritenians.
