In observance of National Disability Rights Week, the Municipal Government of Santa Rita held a special celebration recognizing SNED learners and the teachers who continue to provide quality Special Needs Education with dedication and compassion.
A total of 112 SNED learners from Santa Rita Elementary School, San Isidro Elementary School, and San Basilio Elementary School received educational assistance, while SNED teachers were given grocery packs as a token of appreciation for their unwavering commitment to their learners.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo, Vice Mayor Ferdinand Salalila, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, PWD Barangay Presidents, teachers, parents, and learners joined the celebration in support of inclusive education and the rights of persons with disabilities.
The celebration also featured a lively dance presentation by the SNED learners. Mayor Calo joined the children, sharing in their performance and making the occasion even more memorable for everyone.
Through activities like these, the Municipality continues to promote an inclusive community where every learner is recognized, supported, and given opportunities to thrive.
