On September 11, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) turned over assistance to the Municipal Government of Santa Rita for families affected by the recent flooding. The assistance included cavans of rice, purified water, and hygiene kits.
Mayor Reynan S. Calo personally welcomed and received the assistance from the OCD Central Office, represented by Mr. JB Torres, and OCD Region III, represented by Ms. Sally Bautista.
The Municipal Government of Santa Rita extends its gratitude to OCD Regional Director Ms. Shelby Ruiz and the OCD team for extending support to the Municipality and affected Ritenians.
