𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita conducted its regular flag ceremony on Monday, June 16, 2026, hosted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) and the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).
In his message, Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared updates on the Municipality’s recent activities and accomplishments. Among the highlights was the distribution of land titles to more than 200 beneficiaries through the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD). The Mayor expressed his gratitude to DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) President and CEO Federico Laxa for their support in helping Ritenians secure land ownership.
Mayor Calo also reported that the Municipality of Santa Rita was recognized with Ideal Functionality in the FY 2026 Functionality Assessment of the City/Municipality Committees. The recognition reflects the Municipality’s effective monitoring of local government projects, promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance in the implementation of development programs.
The Mayor likewise highlighted the successful celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day and the recent conduct of the Ritenian Educational Assistance Program (REAP), where 2,579 college students received ₱4,000 each in educational assistance.
During the ceremony, two Ritenian students were also recognized for their achievements in international academic competitions: Sabrina Malig and Teofisto Santos of Becuran National High School, bringing pride and honor to the Municipality of Santa Rita.
Looking ahead, Mayor Calo shared upcoming activities for the week, including the PSA-MCRO National ID Registration Caravan, the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, and planning sessions of the Municipality’s Technical Working Group for the preparation of the annual budget. He also encouraged continued support for ongoing donation drives and community initiatives.
The Municipality continues its efforts in delivering responsive programs, strengthening partnerships, and providing meaningful services for the people of Santa Rita.
