The Municipal Government of Santa Rita and the Social Security System (SSS) Angeles Branch formalized a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the SSS coverage of qualified Job Order (JO) and Contract of Service (COS) personnel of the Municipality.
The partnership will facilitate their registration and monthly contribution remittances as SSS members, giving them access to social security protection and benefits such as sickness, maternity, disability, retirement, and death benefits.
Representing the SSS Angeles Branch during the signing were Ms. Mylene L. Siapno, Acting Head, and Mr. Anthony L. Rivera, Corporate Executive Officer II.
The agreement marks another step toward strengthening social protection for the people who serve the Municipality of Santa Rita.
