𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 (𝗕𝗕𝗠) 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮

A total of 2,118 Ritenians received sacks of rice through the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Rice Distribution Program, a National Government initiative that ensures assistance reaches communities across the country, including municipalities like Santa Rita.

The Municipal Government of Santa Rita extends its gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the National Government for bringing this program to local communities and helping provide food assistance to Filipino families.

Santa Rita is the first municipality in Pampanga to conduct the rice distribution under the program. Mayor Reynan S. Calo shared that the Municipality’s prompt compliance with the requirements of the DBM Apps Portal, together with the administration’s commitment to immediately pursue programs that benefit Ritenians, made the early implementation of the project possible.

Mayor Calo also expressed his appreciation to the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Santa Rita, the barangay officials, and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office for their coordination and support in the implementation of the program. Their collective efforts helped ensure the orderly distribution of assistance to qualified Ritenian beneficiaries. Also present during the distribution were members of the Sangguniang Bayan and the Punong Barangays of Santa Rita.

The Municipality also looks forward to the next phase of the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program, which includes the installation of community water systems in identified areas of Santa Rita that have limited access to water utility services.

The Municipal Government remains committed to working closely with the National Government to ensure that programs and services continue to reach every Ritenian.
